Run · Maintenance & Support
Your software, looked after.
Ongoing maintenance, fixes and small jobs for the systems you already run, including ones we didn’t build, whether they’re built on .NET, PHP, WordPress, or Next.js and React.
Who it’s for
- Companies running software built by a developer or agency that has since moved on
- Businesses on ASP.NET WebForms, .NET Framework, PHP, or WordPress platforms that still run daily operations
- Teams with Next.js, React, or Node.js apps that need dependencies, hosting, and fixes kept current
- Owners who want a predictable monthly cost instead of per-incident bills
- Teams that need small jobs done without starting a new project each time
Problems we fix
What usually brings people to us
- Software built by someone who has moved on, with no documentation
- Security updates that haven’t been applied in months
- A site or app that goes down and no one notices until a customer says so
- Small changes that wait weeks because there’s no one to make them
- Backups no one has ever tested
- Being told the only fix is a full rebuild
Small jobs
The jobs we handle every month
- Broken contact forms
- Expired SSL certificates
- Plugin or package updates that broke something
- Checkout or payment errors
- Small feature changes and report tweaks
- Server and database updates
- Slow pages
- Moving a site or app to new hosting
- Data exports and imports
What’s included
What Maintenance & Support covers
- Onboarding and a written map of how your system works
- Uptime, error, and security monitoring, with alerts
- Dependency, platform, and security updates, tested before they go live
- Database care for SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB: backups, patching, and query tuning
- WordPress security monitoring with Sucuri and Wordfence where relevant
- Small jobs handled within the plan
- A quarterly review of system health and priorities
Takeovers
Taking over a system you inherited
We take over any system, including ones built by other developers with no documentation. The first two weeks:
- 01Access and credentials moved into accounts you own
- 02A backup before anything changes
- 03A written map of how the system works
- 04A short list of risks, in priority order
- 05Then normal care, month to month

How we charge
Monthly plan
A monthly care plan. Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum, then run month to month. Small jobs are handled within the plan; larger changes are quoted separately in writing.
What the cost depends on
- The number of systems we look after
- The age of the stack
- How often changes are needed
- Whether hosting is included
Every engagement
- A written quote before any work starts
- Changes approved in writing before they’re made
- You own your accounts, code, and content
No rewrite pressure
Steady care, not a sales pitch for a rebuild
We’ll tell you honestly if part of your system needs replacing and why, but we don’t push rewrites. Most systems just need steady care.

Who you’ll work with
One point of contact, a team behind it
You get one point of contact from the first call through to ongoing care, with a small, senior team behind them doing the work. We have been building and supporting client systems since 2014, including a franchise’s operations platform and a corporate yoga company’s custom platform, each for more than a decade.
Two client platforms have been maintained by the same team for more than a decade: a franchise’s ASP.NET platform since 2014 and a corporate yoga company’s .NET Core platform since 2015.
Cloudstruct was founded by Mark Dos Santos, who has also spent 15+ years leading ecommerce and technology teams in-house; his full background is on LinkedIn.
Common questions
Can you take on a system you didn’t build?
Yes, including ones built by other developers with no documentation. In the first two weeks we move access into accounts you own, take a backup, map how the system works, and list the risks. For a deeper written review first, book a Technical Audit.
Do we need to rebuild it?
Usually not. If part of it does need replacing, we explain why and quote that separately, and the decision is yours.
What counts as a small job versus a project?
Small jobs, such as a broken form, an expired SSL certificate, an update that broke something, or a report tweak, are handled within the plan. Anything that meaningfully changes scope, like a new feature set or a rebuild, is quoted separately in writing first.
How fast do you respond if something breaks?
We aim to respond the same or next business day, on a best-effort basis. It is not a guaranteed service level.
What if nothing breaks in a given month?
Plan time goes to proactive work: monitoring, small improvements, dependency updates, and the quarterly health review, not just waiting for incidents.
Do we keep ownership of the code and accounts?
You do. Code, configurations, documentation, and hosting and platform accounts are yours once the work is paid for. Accounts stay in your name, and we work through access you grant and can remove at any time.
What happens if we want to leave after the minimum?
After the 3-month minimum the plan runs month to month, so you can end it. You keep everything: the code, the accounts, the documentation, and the written map of your system.
