Cloudstruct

Run · Hosting & Server Migration

Move off aging hosting without breaking what already works.

Cloudstruct moves Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and WordPress workloads to modern hosting in an account you own. Each move is planned site by site and watched closely after cutover.

Who it’s for

  • Businesses on shared or legacy hosting that has become slow, expensive, or unsupported
  • Companies running ASP.NET apps and WordPress sites together on one aging server
  • Owners who want the hosting account in their own name, not a former vendor’s
  • Teams with legacy components, such as old PHP, WebForms, or WCF, that still have to work

Problems we fix

What usually brings people to us

  • One old server running everything, with no one sure what’s still in use
  • Hosting costs that keep rising for slower service
  • Hosting held in a former vendor’s account
  • Legacy sites that might not survive a move to a newer runtime

What’s included

What Hosting & Server Migration covers

  • An inventory of every site, app, database, and domain, with decommission recommendations
  • A full backup before any migration work
  • A new server provisioned with automated backups enabled, in Canada if you want your data to stay here
  • Sites, apps, and databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) migrated like-for-like
  • DNS cutover and SSL certificates for every live domain

How it works

From first call to ongoing care

  1. 01

    Inventory what is actually running

Every site, app, database, and domain, and what can be retired.

  2. 02

    Quote and schedule the window

A fixed, line-item quote, with contingency shown up front.

  3. 03

    Migrate and cut over

Backup first, then each site verified before DNS switches.

  4. 04

    Monitor, document, hand off

48–72 hours of monitoring, then documentation of the new setup.

How we charge

Fixed written quote

A fixed, line-item quote with any contingency shown up front. Ongoing hosting care can move to a maintenance plan afterward.

What the cost depends on

  • The number of sites, applications, databases, and domains
  • Legacy components that need a compatible runtime
  • Data volume and the cutover window
  • Clean-up of sites that should be retired instead of moved

Every engagement

  • A written quote before any work starts
  • Changes approved in writing before they’re made
  • You own your accounts, code, and content

After the work

Who you’ll work with

One point of contact, a team behind it

You get one point of contact from the first call through to ongoing care, with a small, senior team behind them doing the work. We have been building and supporting client systems since 2014, including a franchise’s operations platform and a corporate yoga company’s custom platform, each for more than a decade.

Cloudstruct was founded by Mark Dos Santos, who has also spent 15+ years leading ecommerce and technology teams in-house; his full background is on LinkedIn.

Common questions

How is the cost determined?

By what is actually running: the number of sites, apps, databases, and domains, and any legacy components. You get a fixed, line-item quote before work starts. Nothing is billed outside the written quote without your written approval.

Will our sites go down during the move?

Cutover is scheduled for a low-traffic overnight or weekend window, and DNS is switched only after each site is verified on the new server. Our most recent 12-domain migration cut over with no downtime.

We have an old site on an outdated PHP version. Can it come along?

Yes. Legacy sites can be moved as-is onto a compatible runtime. Upgrading them is quoted separately so the migration itself stays predictable.

What happens if something breaks after the move?

Every delivery includes a 30-day warranty: if something we delivered breaks within 30 days of go-live, we fix it at no charge. After that, a maintenance plan covers fixes and monitoring, or you can take the documentation and run it yourself.
