The situation
We were introduced by the company’s SEO agency in 2017. The site would load on mobile but not on desktop, the product menu could not fit the full collection, and the agency’s security review had a list of recommendations waiting for someone to implement them.
What we built
- 01Fixed the desktop loading failure and broken links
- 02Moved hosting and put the whole site on HTTPS
- 03Rebuilt the collection navigation as a mega menu so every product line fits
- 04Implemented the security recommendations and set up Sucuri and Wordfence monitoring, then responded to the alerts
- 05Set up a CDN and a staging site so changes could be tested before going live
- 06Built a lead form, landing pages, and project pages, and applied a new homepage design from the company’s marketing agency
Outcome
From 2017 to 2020 the company had a developer with full context on its site, coordinating directly with its SEO and marketing agencies instead of each of them working around the others.
